UEA Weekend

We headed south for the weekend since school was out. We went to see Tarzan at the Tuachan. It was so much fun, I really liked it. Ty and McKinlee had a lot of fun. The next day we headed for Las Vegas and stopped at the Hoover Dam on the way.

The new bypass bridge is done and they were dedicating it the day we were there. I wish we could have drove over it but it doesn't open until this week sometime.

We had lunch at the cafe.

We stayed at the MGM, it is huge and really busy, but we had a good time. It was really hot in Las Vegas last weekend.

We ate at the Rainforest Cafe in the MGM. Ty and McKinlee liked it when the animals would come to life.

Fall

My favorite time of the year is the fall. I wish it would last longer. We have been enjoying the fall colors this year. Fishing at Potters Ponds.

The Greatest Show on Earth

We took the kids to the circus a few weeks ago, it was a first for everyone. The show was really fun, there was lots of different things going on in the arena. The favorites were the elephants and the tigers.

I liked the high wire act, it was very good.

We also really liked this motorcycle act, they had seven motorcycles going inside this cage at once.

McKinlee got a "free hat" with her $10 cotton candy.

Ty woke up with an ear ache that morning, after a visit to the Dr. he made it to the show. The loud noises hurt his ear, but he still had fun.

The elephants were so fun to watch.

Grandparents Day

Ty's class had a program for Grandparents Day and he got to invite his Grandparents to attend. They sang songs for them and had the Grandparents read stories to the children.

Refreshments were served after.
