Family Party

Another visit with Santa and he brought Mrs. Claus to our family party this year.  The kids gave them the same request for bows.  They had a great time playing with all their cousins.

Sledding

Ty & McKinlee were so excited to go sledding after the snow storm. We have a good hill right behind our house, they had so much fun in the snow.

 

 

  Ty was so good to give McKinlee a tow up the hill.

 

 

 

So much for the sled, Ty hit a rock and broke it in two.  Done sledding for the day.

School Christmas Program

This year the elementary school's program theme was The Grinch. Ty got to crazy socks and scarves to look like the "Who's". McKinlee's class was "Max the Dog" an they wore an antler for their parts. The program was so great and the kids did a super job.

 

 

 

 

Dance Recital

McKinlee's dance recital was the week before Christmas. She did such a great job dancing with her group. I really love her costume this year also, she looks so cute in it. She looks so forward to her programs because she gets to wear makeup and get all dressed up.

She is one of the oldest in her class this year, she looks so big.

 

This is McKinlee's best friend, she is moving to Washington and is really going to be missed.

Snow!

We got our first real big snow storm a week before Christmas. McKinlee had so much fun out playing in it with Shadow.

 

 

 

All Aboard!

As a family, we hopped on the new Frontrunner and went to Salt Lake for the day. We had a really good time. We all went to the new mall and had lunch together. Then we went and seen the lights at temple square. The train was really busy on the ride home, we had to stand until Lehi, but we had a great time.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town!

We went to see Santa at the Dance Hall and the kids told him what the would like him to bring this year. They both requested bow and arrows this year.

 

 

 

Thanksgiving Feast

McKinlee's teacher does some really fun activities throughout the year ans she loves the holidays. The Thanksgiving feast is always fun. This year McKinlee was a pilgrim for the feast. The kids draw out of a hat to be a pilgrim or an indian. Then they have a feast with the class.

 

A Day at the Zoo

We decided to wait until it cooled down this year to go to the zoo. We had originally planned to go in October, but made it the first week of November. We had a great time, the weather was beautiful. The animals were so fun to see and we loved the new Rocky Shores area of the zoo.

 The tigers are one of our favorites.

 

 We got to see the new baby giraffe.  They just put it on public display this week, it was fun to see.

 They always talk us into a ride on the carousel.

The addition of Rocky Shores is really great.

 

It was like being at Sea World. 

 

 

They always talk us into a souvenir too.

We had a great time at the zoo.

Halloween

We had a fun halloween this year, McKinlee dressed up as a witch and Ty was a Cheetah. Their costumes turned out really great. Grandma sewed the cheetah costume for Ty, he loved it. We went to the annual carnival at the elementary school and trick or treated until they were tired of it. It was a fun night.
