School Christmas Program

Ty had his program at school for Christmas and the program was titled "Christmas Around the World". Each of the grades did a song from a country. Ty's class got to sing an American song and they "Christmas for Cowboys". It was such a cute song. The class did so well.

Christmas Recital

McKinlee had her Christmas dance recital the week before Christmas and she did a great job. She loves getting to wear makeup for her program.

Melinda brought her a rose and gave it to her after she performed. She just loved it and thought it was the neatest thing. Thanks Melinda.

Another Party

We had our party with my Dad's family and Santa always comes to visit the kids. The kids think have so much fun sitting on his lap and telling him what they want.

McKinlee was so excited for the party this year, because there are so many little girls her age to play with. I loved this picture of these two sitting together waiting for their turn with Santa.

Ty brought his list in his pocket for Santa this year, I had no idea he had it. It cracked me up that he was so prepared.

Family Party

We started a new tradition for our family party last year and it was so fun, we did it again this year and more. We all met at the theater and went to movies together in the morning. Our group saw Happy Feet 2, the kids really liked it and had fun with their cousin Kenyon. After that, we all went bowling at Fat Cats and then back to my moms house for dinner. It was fun to spend the day together, instead of just an hour or two.

Decorating the Tree

Ty and McKinlee love decorating the tree. They did a great job this year on the ornaments.

Temple Square

We rode the train into downtown again the day after Thanksgiving and went to Temple Square to see the lights. The Loomis' came with us and we had so much fun together. It was a little windy at first, but then the wind quit and it was not that cold.

Pictures with Santa

We took the kids to the fairgrounds the day after Thanksgiving to see Santa. They had a photo booth set up with a cute scene and Santa. The pictures turned out really cute. They also got their faces painted while we were at the fair.

Ty had fun playing with Megan's new puppy Clyde at Grandma's house.

Thanksgiving Feast

McKinlee had a Thanksgiving Feast at preschool and could either dress as a pligrim or an indian. She had the perfect outfit from Halloween and dressed as Pocahontas for the feast.

Disney on Ice

We rode Trax to Disney on Ice in November. The show was really great and the kids had a great time. They love to ride the train into downtown.

All About Me

It was McKinlee's turn for all about me at preschool and I made her this poster to hang in her classroom for a few weeks. I thought it turned out really cute and now she has it hanging in ber bedroom.

Halloween

We did some fun things for Halloween this year. We made it to the pumpkin patch on the Saturday before Halloween, we picked the right day to go because all the pumpkins were free that day. We took home as many as we could carry. The kids had fun carving their pumpkins too.

McKinlee dressed up as Pocahontas this year and Ty was a zebra. My mom made both of their costumes and they turned out so cute. The kids love Grandma to sew for them.

Ty's school has a Halloween carnival every year on Halloween and they bring the bouncy slides for the kids to play on. Ty and McKinlee loved them.
