Weekend Getaway

This past weekend we went to St. George for some much needed sunshine. The weather was perfect. We had a picnic at Snow Canyon with Lorna, Mitch, Nicole, Megan, Brenda, Melinda, Jessica & Jessie and Darcie & Jesse. It was really fun. We had lunch by the sand dunes and went on a little hike later. It was a really nice day. That night we all went to dinner at Texas Road House, it was really good.

Here are some pictures of Jenny's Canyon that we walked into. Ty was the leader of the hike. Nicole and Megan kept crashing into him because he would just stop at a "red light" or a "stop sign" along the way. We had to wait for him to tell us the light was green before we could proceed. The trail led to a slot canyon, it was really neat.

Happy Valentine's Day

The holidays make for great fun at preschool. They had a party at school for Valentine's Day this week. All the kids brought a shoe box to decorate the day before and then they exchanged Valentines with each other on Thursday.

Happy Birthday Darren

It was Darren's birthday on 8th. We got him an iPod this year so he could have some music while he was out working on the desert. He was getting tired of the one radio station that he could pick up out there. Happy Birthday Darren!

McKinlee Feeding Shadow

If Shadow doesn't finish his food in his dish, McKinlee takes it upon herself to feed him the rest. I try to remember to feed him while she is in her high chair, so he can eat in peace. She makes sure he doesn't go hungry, while Ty narrates in the background.
