Farm Country

We went to Thanksgiving Point for McKinlee's birthday. We went to the farm country and seen the animals. McKinlee & Ty both liked them and had lots of fun.

This guy was a little too close for McKinlee.
They liked the peacock a lot.
Ty rode the ponies three times since McKinlee wouldn't.
Cheese!

Happy Birthday McKinlee

McKinlee turned two on Friday, I can't believe how fast time goes by. She is so sweet and adds so much fun to our family. Opening her presents.

Ty picked out this dress for her,
he thought she needed a wild dress.

Happy Birthday McKinlee!

Tin Foil Dinners

Darcie, Jesse, Jake & Kylie went camping at Payson Lakes and they invited us to come up and have dinner with them. It was a raining when we left our house and we thought we would get rained out again, but it quit just about the time we got there. We all made tin foil dinners on the fire, they tasted really good.

trying to make her dinner.

Trying to get the fire started.

We brought Shadow so Darcie could see him. She hadn't seen him since she gave him to us.

We brought cupcakes since McKinlee's

birthday was the next day.

Family Party

Every year we get together with my dad's family at Kelly's Grove. This year the weather was not the best. We had hot chocolate and were trying to stay warm by the fire.

Ty had so much fun with Savannah this year.

McKinlee had two jackets on to keep warm

McKinlee was not too happy about Eric putting her on his shoulders.
Riley entertained us in the creek.

At Least We Tried...

We made it to Payson Lakes for a picnic. The kids like the water a lot. It was really calm and clear when we got there. We walked around and found a table and played for a bit and then we went back to the car to get our picnic and the weather changed on us really fast.

Nice calm water.

I got the high chair set up and took a couple pictures of them at the table and it started blowing and hailing so bad on us.
We were taking shelter under these trees.
These poor people in the canoe were getting pelted by the hail.
So we moved the picnic to the car. At least it was dry there. Maybe we will have better luck next time.

The Grotto

Last week we decided to go over the Nebo Loop for the first time this year. We packed a picnic and headed out. We came from the Payson side and stopped at the Grotto for a hike. It's an easy hike and I knew Ty would like the waterfall at the end.

Ty and McKinlee on the trail.

I actually got Ty to take off his hat.

McKinlee liked to follow Ty

Ty is such a little poser!

Rainy Day Picnic

With all the rainy days we have been having we were getting tired of eating our lunch in the house. We decided that we should have a picnic in the trailer. We packed up our peanut butter sandwiches and headed out. Ty & McKinlee thought it was pretty fun.

Of course, Shadow had to come too.
