1st Day of School

Ty started Kindergarten on Thursday. He was really excited to start real school with all of his friends from preschool. He looks so grown up.

All the kids lined up to head to their new classroom.

He came home with these glasses, all the kids got a prize on the first day.

We finally made it camping with Darren. We have been meaning to get up there all summer, but have had one thing after another that kept us from getting there. Since school would be starting at the end of the week, we would only stay for a few nights.

Snowbird Tram

We decided that it would be fun to ride the tram at Snowbird, since it was also included in our passes. Here are some pics from the ride.

It said it was 80 degrees at the summit.

Salt Lake Connect Pass: Day two

We got a free day with our passes and decided not to waste it. On Friday, we went to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point and again, had a really fun time.

Living Planet Aquarium

On the way home, we hit the Living Planet Aquarium. Ty & McKinlee really liked this too. They had fun seeing all the different fish. McKinlee just loves to do whatever Ty does, if he climbed up to look at something, she was right behind him, she didn't want to miss anything.
They had a touch pool with stingrays in it. Ty did not like them to get too close to him, he let out a sceam once that would have made any mom proud.

What would a trip to the Gateway be without getting wet in the fountain. It was so hot, I wanted to be out in it with Ty. He had so much fun. McKinlee wanted to get wet, but she never would get in the water.
We should have brought a towel and swimming suit for Ty, he was drenched.

Discovery Gateway Museum

We bought a Salt Lake Connect pass and headed north for some fun activities. Here are some pictures from the Discovery Gateway Museum. It is a really fun place, my kids loved it. We could have spent the whole day here, there is so much for them to do. We will most likely be going back.Ty and McKinlee playing in the beehive.
