Brothers

We have been dog-sitting Riley, my mom and dad's dog, while they went to Alaska. Shadow and Riley have been running and chewing on each other since he got here. They get a little wound up sometimes, then they will just plop down because they are so tired.

This is how they spent a lot of their time, they were so worn out from running through the yard and playing together. They sure slept good at night. Shadow will probably miss Riley when he goes home.

Slip 'n' Slidin' Puppy

Ty decided that Shadow wanted to do the slip & slide with him. He was a pretty good participant, since he likes the water. It was funny to watch him drag the dog down the slip & slide.

Rainy Day Picnic

With all the rainy days we have been having we were getting tired of eating our lunch in the house. We decided that we should have a picnic in the trailer. We packed up our peanut butter sandwiches and headed out. Ty & McKinlee thought it was pretty fun.

Of course, Shadow had to come too.

McKinlee Feeding Shadow

If Shadow doesn't finish his food in his dish, McKinlee takes it upon herself to feed him the rest. I try to remember to feed him while she is in her high chair, so he can eat in peace. She makes sure he doesn't go hungry, while Ty narrates in the background.

Bath Time Fun

Baths at our house have changed since we got a dog. Shadow loves the water. Everytime Ty & McKinlee have a bath he is right in there with them. He has pretty good balance on the side of the tub and hasn't fallen in YET!

Shadow...Our New Puppy

Well, we shopped the after Christmas sale and look what we found. Ha! Ha! Just kidding. He's was the last of the puppies from Darcie & Jesse's dogs. Someone was going to pick it up for a Christmas present and flaked out. So Jessica called to see if we wanted a dog and we decided we would take him. Jessie said that he would name him Shadow, since he followed him all over their yard. Thanks, that took the work out of naming him for us. I hate coming up with a name and it really fits him.

he gets too close for her comfort.

Ty really likes him, they chase each other up and down the hall.
